Transparency and Trust

Your peace of mind is our highest priority—we aim to earn your trust through transparency around our security and privacy practices.

Strict security measures ensure that your data is safe, by focusing on ensuring the security, reliability and privacy of our services.
We have implemented processes to protect data with encryption in-transit and at-rest while maintaining administrative controls to enforce access controls.
Highly available and scalable architecture is maintained, and assessed through penetration testing, static and dynamic code analysis and third party vulnerability scanning.

Product Security

Hudl maintains documented Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) policies and procedures, which guide engineers in implementing and documenting both application and infrastructure enhancements.

Code is analyzed and scanned pre- and post-release, with static and dynamic analysis. As part of change management, peer reviews are conducted.
Version control and source code management are key components to ensure no unauthorized access or changes are published.
Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are in place to enforce compliance with resolving identified security bugs within industry standard timeframes. Hudl has embraced a “shift-left” philosophy aimed at reducing the number of identified issues.

Infrastructure and Network Security

Hudl utilizes industry standard cloud infrastructure vendors to provide best-in-class capabilities. We operate on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which is complemented by additional security processes and technologies.

We complete third-party external penetration tests to independently assess the security, vulnerability, integrity and availability of our products, at least annually. Testing follows a consistent and structured approach, based on best practice methodologies.
We use industry-standard tooling and logging layers to monitor services health and alert the appropriate engineering teams when abnormal behavior is identified.
All Hudl employees have access based on their roles. Access is granted on a need-to-use basis, based on the responsibilities and duties of the employee.
Multifactor authentication is enforced across all applications and services.

Our program adheres to internationally recognized security and privacy frameworks—aligned to ISO 27001/2, 27701, 27017 and 27018 standards—enabling us to satisfy compliance and regulatory obligations. We also understand that many organizations have vendor risk management processes in place and we want to be transparent in how we operate, secure and manage our products.
