Hudl Named to Newsweek's List of the Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces for 2023
Hudl ranked as 48 among 100 global companies recognized for employee sentiment and satisfaction.
New York, NY (May 31, 2023) – Newsweek today announced their annual rankings for the Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces® list, and Hudl was ranked #48—the only sports technology company and Nebraska-based business to make the list.
“Our goal is for Hudl to be the best place to work in sports technology. Being included on this list is a testament of our teams’ collective efforts to promote an inclusive culture that values real talk, continued learning and development, transparency and winning together,” said Hudl CEO David Graff. “Our mission is to make every moment count for our customers and it all starts with recruiting and nurturing our incredible global team.”
The 2023 Global Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® is the newest list in the Most Loved Workplace® collaboration with the Best Practice Institute (BPI), a leadership development and benchmark research company. The list recognizes companies that put respect, caring and appreciation for their employees at the center of their business model and, in doing so, have earned the loyalty and respect of the people who work for them. The results were determined after surveying more than 2 million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from 30 to more than 10,000.
How positive employees feel about their future at the company; career achievement; how much employer values align with employee values; respect at all levels; and the level of collaboration at the firm were the five critical areas measured to gauge employee sentiment. In addition, areas such as inclusion, diversity, equity and belonging, career development, and company leadership were identified and analyzed in relation to the five critical areas measured.
In the past year, Hudl has continued to introduce new benefits to address the needs of their evolving workforce. Hudl announced family forming care, enhanced parental leave and recently invested in building an onsite childcare facility at its Lincoln headquarters to better support parents. Hudl also continued to lean into flexibility, promoting a hybrid work environment that encourages employees to prioritize outcomes over hours—to work where and how best suits them—and extended a “work from anywhere” policy for four weeks per year. They also continue to make company-wide investments in manager training, professional development opportunities, company-wide breaks and meeting-free timeout days on Fridays in June and July. Overall, Hudl is focused on providing an inclusive employee experience in order to win together.
"While workplace dynamics continue to evolve, the power of a positive culture remains constant,” says Nancy Cooper, Global Editor in Chief of Newsweek. “The companies featured on the 2023 Global Most Loved Workplaces® list embody this transformative spirit, proving that when companies prioritize their people, success naturally follows."
